hey guys first post! I have a nasty rattle coming from what seems to be the back end whenever I hit a bump. front tires hit the bump no rattle back end hits it and *rattle rattle* I have a 94 gt convertible. I just did the rear pads, calipers and rotors and everything brakewise seemed solid....any ideas what this may be?
both top up and down. I just took it on the first trip since I had it and the rattle seems to be a little worse now. I also have funny tire wear on the driver side the inside of the tire has worn pretty good. One guy said perhaps a busted shock mount, but that was the same guy that let me pull away from midas and didn't put my lug nuts on all the way!
maybe your exhaust is banging against something underneath the car. is it an aftermarket cat back. or if its stock maybe the hangers rusted off the muffler or tail pipes and thats whats hitting. just a suggestion to check out.
check your rear sway bar i had the same problem with my 95 and found out my rear sway bar was broken 94-95 rear sway bars are really weak....... almost positive its that
