First time at the track
OK, i have a 94 cobra, it has a 306, it has a cam, edelbrock heads and upper and lower intake, it has twin 32mm or 37mm turbos that are intercooled and it is methanal injected,i have 3.73 gears and a viper 6 speed,,,the guy i got it from says its got about 500 at the wheels at 10 pounds of boost,,heres my problem, i ran it twice at the track 1st run was a 13.41 at 102 and second was a 13.38 at 105,why the hell is it so slow,i am very very unpleased with it,the guy who bulit it and the one who had it before me says it never lost a street race and is low 11 car,,,,what gives

One run was 102 mph and the next run was 3 mph difference. That tells me you have some driver skills to sharpen.
I know the track is a handy tool for establishing an et but a twin turbo Mustang should be almost 120mph trap speed or better. The difference between 105 trap speed and 120 trap speed should be easy for anyone to feel, experienced or not.
For now don't worry too much about the et. The track conditions, tires and launch technique can and will change that dramatically but your mph is seriously lacking.
And quotes like "it's never lost a street race" from a seller, really don't mean ****.

well my first 60 foot time was 2.06 and the second was 2.26, and i had the tire pressure down to 18 pounds, they are Nitto 555r drag radials..i still think the car should be way faster then what it is, a stock 5.0 could get them et,s with a good set of tires, and my car has alot of money put into it,,,i know there is a lot of driver error, but i just thought it would do way better then that..

60's need to improve big time. Gotta learn to launch it and get it to stick. May need better rubber, like some MT's. Just get some seat time and you will see improvement. Also, check out a DA calc to correct for any weather and altitude. http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php
