Default engine upgrades

I have a 2004 mustang gt and wanted to add a single turbo or twin turbo not sure which yet and was wondering what upgrades will I need to make on the stock engine? the car has 32311 miles on it and would it be easier to upgrade the engine or put a crate engine in the car?

You have to define easy, and easy for what purpose? It depends on your goals and what kind use and reliability your looking to get. The short answer is yes, its easier to work with what you got. But if your doing a race car, and not doing any of the luxuries then its easier to gut and then plug and chug.

it is going to be a street car. Not really looking to make it a race. Just something to out perform other street cars and show off a little bit.
