Front end low enough??
Hello,
I lowered my 95 gt vert supposedly 2 inches. The back i will agree w/ the front a little iffy. I have 18inch wheels w/ pirelli tires. Not used for racing or anything like, mainly car shows and late evening cruising. I put on tokico shocks all around (fox body style) and used dropzone springs and mac c/c plates. The front sat up so high, i had to lower it, but this makes the ride a little rougher. Anyway, the main question i have is how to lower the front end more. I have heard you can cut the springs, but that kind of sounds pretty broke and i can just imagine what that would do to the already "not very smooth" ride. Driving into the garage is before, driving out is after. It has settled a little though, but not much. Im thinking that is just the way its supposed to be due to the tires needing clearance to turn, etc. Anyway, any comments or suggestions welcome.

RE: Front end low enough??
Does seem alittle high still maybe its the adjustment on the c/c plates but do not cut the springs unless you want the ricer bounce which sucks. The springs do not sit right on the rubber isolaters if you cut them so i wouldnt recommend it

RE: Front end low enough??
K, thanks for the insite. I definately dont want it any rougher, so i wont be cutting the springs. I am getting it aligned tommorrow, so i will see if the "experts" at the tire place can make some adjustments but im not counting on it....

gettna05!--supposed to 2 inch drop, its really close if its not 2 inches (i made the mistake of not measuring before)
99saleen351r-- going to get it aligned tommorrow so yeah, it could change the front a little. the alignment doesnt seem off too far, but we'll see...
stanglx2002--what does a bumpsteer kit actually do..somebody told me that i would need it if its hard to steer or the car gets "thrown" when hitting bumps in the road. It still rides and drives perfectly fine, just not as smooth as factory.. why is this something that i need?
