ive been lookin for a c4 for my 306 out of my 89 mustang. i placed an ad and someone responded with a c4 out of an 88 turbo coupe. My question is.... obviously the bell housings are are interchangeable and not a problem but i want to make sure the shaft on the front of the tranny will either fit , or is interchangeable........ thanks

 

It will be the same but the converter may be different. It might bolt up but have a different stall speed. Not sure because it is coming from a turbo car. If it was a naturally aspirated motor, it would be a higher stall speed to make up for the difference in torque.
