Default Battery life

Hey guys, I have a big issue going on with battery life. Im on my 3rd optima in less then a year and cannot find out what is going on! The batteries only die when it is cold out (in Pueblo CO so we are already in the 30s until March-April. Ive tried replacing batteries, Ive tried replacing all the cables, Ive even replaced the starter and never fails, if its colder then low 40s, my batteries always die!!! Ive tried the cold starts, Ive tried it all. Just cant figure out what else it can be, any ideas?

The Optima is not the best batery on the market, but it's pretty good. If three if them have died, it's not he battery.

You've go a short somewhere, or the chargings system is not working correctly. Take it over to Autozone and have them check the charging system. They'll usually do it for free.

I agree that your charging system is not working right. Your alternator may be overcharging the battery which will lead to premature failure. You may also have a parasitic draw that is draining it down overnight.
