Default advice asap ( daily driver )

i own a 1997 mustang cobra, has 410s, high flow h pipe, slp loudmouth 1 resonators, k&n cold air intake. just today i started the car and kept stalling if i didnt give it gas. tried to drive it down around the neighborhood and it would keep stalling if i was in neutral or at a stop sign, also when i shift i noticed the rpms dropped way too far between shifts. the check engine light comes on and off every now and then. thought the car needed a tune, for the mods i have. or maybe MILS or if the o2 sensors are bad. ive been daily driving this car to and from work everyday for about 2 months. never had this problem until today. any advice or help would be useful. thanks.

You are going to have to get it scanned to narrow it down. It could be several things but probably NOT the O2 sensors.

Your problem might be as simple as a $5 part needing replaced or something WAY more major.. how badly have you beat up the car? Been doing all the REGULAR maintenance on it?

BTW, what did your last car die of? ...

a simple vacuum leak could cause that to happen. like if your into isn't on right. had anything been done to the car right before this happened?

i dont beat on the car. just my daily driver. and done nothing to the car, before this happened. later last night, it seemed to be working fine as if the problem was never there.

then I would start with maintenance stuff that hasn't been done in a while. I would first look at all the vacuum lines and air intake. it wouldn't hurt to just do a tune-up with new plugs and wires and a fuel filter to help her run her best.

i agree with timmygt. vacuum lines. You would be surprised what one line cracked or slipped off can do to ur idle and performance. If its cold where u are its possible it could've cracked. Or if u revved it real high it couldve blown off. i have one that does that on occasion.
