My question is does the Diablosport predator u7146 hold intself the memory of the previous way the previous owner had it set or is all that is in there now the canned tune from diablo? i called diablo but i still want to make sure. From what it sounds like they told me no because the scanner will recognize only the last thing that was done to the car so it will only see it is stock and it does not have a memory that it will hold a preset tune ( like how you preset a radio station) is this true am i understanding correctly?
Reason asking I just recently bout a 2002 ford mustang gt and it had a tuner that came with it with out me even knowing it had one until the end the salesmen walks over and hands me a box and says this goes with it. i say ok thankyou and i then ask him if the tune was still on the car and he said no they reflased it. i was told it has 3.73 gears so i know now my speedo is off. I will be perfectly happy with the canned tune and recalibrating the axle ratio and that is all i am wanting to do as of this point.

Make sure they didnt already reflash it for the gears. Ford told me if I had gears done there, they could redo my computer for the new gears, so I wouldnt need a tuner. Did they really reflash it, or just returned it to stock via the Diablo?

my guess is they returned it back to stock via diablo. I bought it used from an acura dealer. so will the other guys tune still be in the tuner itself or no only the canned tune and i willl have to modify the canned tune for gears and what not?
