a/c transmission question
ok well first off...if i use that a/c convertion stuff to make my a/c have the safer coolent is it hard to do this and after it this would recharge my a/c making it cold again if it was the coolent right.
next i need the o ring or seal that is at the end of the transmission filler neck because my transmission leaks and it leaks from there onto my front cat. so if someone could find this for me because the guy at advance auto parts say i can't get one.

you have to go through the whole system and replace all the seals and o-rings. yes you have to recharge it.
just buy some o-rings that look like they would fit and test to see if they do. hardware store should have them.

i know this is a bit old but i was thinking about the kit and i was wondering how hard it would be to kit, i mean has anyone who has done it able to tell me exactly how hard it is to do.
I changed my 85 stang over and it came with everything, The new oil to cnvert, the R134a the hoses to put the oil and R134A in and the new nosseles that screwed into the lines and a pretty little sticker that says it has been converted. I got it at Meijer not sure if you have one were you live but I've seen them at Autoparts stores and Wal-Mart
I changed mine a year ago and I don't remember changing any seals But I remember the kit having good instructions and it was very easy to do. I can't remember if you have to get the R12 out of the system either it didn't matter on mine I had a leak so my system was dry. I'm no expert on AC just telling you what I did and my AC work's perfect. All I can say is do what the directions on the kit tell you to do.
