Hey guys, my friend at work had a problem with his 2006 4.0L V6 explorer.

long story short it could be either head gasket or cracked head/block. he is still waiting on an exact diagnosis on it, but considered a replacememnt motor since he still owes on it.

what are some good sources to get refurbished crate motors....obviously the cheapest possible. either bare bones (swap over accessories) or a full "plug and play" motor.


any help is greatly appreciated.
