Check Engine Light?
Yesterday, my cars check engine light came on. My friend came over with a scanner and it was throwing 6 different codes:
Key On Engine Off:
124, 223, and 224
Key On Engine Running:
412, 411, 538
We found a list of codes, and 3 of them have to do with the car not being able to register RPMs at any level, the others we're kind of clueless on. Pretty sure I have to replace the Throttle Position Sensor, but that is about as far as our research lead us.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

google says 538 is going to be a broken EGR valve or a vaccume leak, and the other 2 codes are likely to be your IAC. try cleaning your IAC or swap it out with someone if they have the same model car as you.
however one thing wrong can trigger all those codes too.
is your car running normally or is there any symptoms that go with your CEL?

Here are all 6 codes
124: Throttle Position (TP) sensor voltage higher than expected.
223: Loss of Dual Plug Inhibit (DPI) control (dual plug EI)
224: PCM detected coil 1, 2, 3, or 4 primary circuit failure (dual plug EI)
411: Cannot control RPM during KOER low RPM check
412: Cannot control RPM during KOER high RPM check
538: Insufficient RPM change during KOER dynamic response test
Edit: and naturally KOER means Key On Engine Running, just in case you didn't know. And as MU stated, do you notice anything wrong with your car, such as erratic idle or did you just notice the CEL and had it checked out?

The car runs fine, the only thing is a little bit of shaking if it idles too long, but that was going on for about a month before the check engine light came on. The light doesn't stay on all the time either, it has it's moments lol. TY for the list of codes BTW... What usually controls the DPI and PCM issues?
