Yes, I capt the upper mounts until I upgraded to my kmember/coilover setup and cc plates. Still using the sn struts.
I have the stock shocks back there with tubular control arms and Steeda superlite springs. Don't have enough money right now to upgrade them. I have disc brakes in the rear as well but that has nothing to do with where the shocks mount.
What are diffences between 87-93 struts and 94 up besides the lower mount is narrower the the 87-93 sturts.
87-93 struts are physically shorter than 94-up struts. 87-93 struts will bolt right up to a 94-04 car IF the vehicle is lowered.
When used in a lowered 94+ application the 87-93 struts will have 1 inch more jounce travel. If you combine that with camber plates that allow you to move the strut mount point upward, you could gain up to 1 1/2 inches of strut travel back, depending on the camber plate by using plates with 87-93 struts on lowered 94-04 models.
