Default LPG Tank

Hi - appreciate any help here

I am coming from UK to buy a Mustang GT - about 2009 coupe

I need to be able to get a lpg tank into boot as we pay up to $8 a gallon over here !!!!!.

Is there enough room in the boot to get a decent size lpg tank and still have usable boot space?.

From photos there seems to be a recessed area to the back of the boot byt he rear seat back. Has anyone fitted an lpg tank in that space

Many thanks

paul

LPG tank? as in liquid propane? what are you going to use that for? and are you trying to store fuel in the trunk of the car and ship it over to the UK, because thats probably not going to work as the restrictions are pretty strict on what can be in the vehicle. but back to your original question, im sure you can get a tank custom made to go in the trunk and only take up like half the trunk. there is probably even a fuel cell already made to dimensions that would fit in there and leave a little space.

No over in UK you can run your petrol cars on liquid petroleum gas.

About 1/2 cost fo petrol and only 3% loss of perfomance but you need about 80 litre tank in the boot to store the fuel
