Well it didnt come from a stang with disc brakes and 5 lug thats for sure. Some one probably got it for the gears and disc brakes and put it in the 93 coupe. If i was betting i'd say its from an LSC.As long as it bolts in why would you care were it came from??
Edit: That was a killer deal even if it needs a rebuild.you should throw some new bushings in the rear while you have it out. There fairly cheap depending on what you get ranging from 40 on up

i dont care what it came from..i was just wondering..also i though i may came from a 94 stang..they had 5 lugs and some had disk brakes...also the 93 cobra came with 5 lugs and disk brakes...they are huge...is there any difference in the lsc and the stang rear..width wise..????
to tell u truthfully i can't be sure but it sounds like the guy got the the 5-lug + disk conversion for the fox body mustangs... 3.27 gears are stock for the 93's and if he had the money to do a $2k upgrade like lugs and disks he prolly had the cash in the sofa for a 9" rear end that he can purchase pre-customized with the same lugs and brakes and the rear end he sold u... good job on yer good buy... a junk yard stock rear end assembly runs round $200... imo: Killer Score Bro !!!
