Default 2002 Mustang V6 manual trans. problem

Alrite so... I have a t5 5 speed in my 6 and for the past year it has had an issue going into 2 gear. everyother gear is fine but second struggles. it seem to shift like normal until the car warms up. ive checked the stop bolts on my short throw and the fluid several times, so its not that. sometime next week im taking the trans out and cracking it open. Im thinking its either a bent 1-2 shift fork or slider. Anybody agree or have any experience with this issue? I think replacing the shift fork would be realitively easy because its on top. What about the slider? Ive read up alot and before I take it out im gonna go to a nearby trans shop and have him diagnos what he thinks it is and if its an easy task ill take care of it. But anyways, what do you guys think?

Thanks

Will
