Ford Falcon Question
Didn't know the best place to post, just found a 2 owner 1963 ford falcon sport coupe original 260 v8. All original stereo and clock still work even. Looks good straight, runs great, great interior, all good glass, clean trim. 85k on it and I can get it for $3k, I have no freakin' clue what it's worth is this a good deal? A guy's parents owned it in NE and it sat in their garage and he doesn't want it.

thats a pretty decent deal for the car, assuming its in decent condition. those cars can bring up to about 10k if they are nice. it all depends on if you are trying to make a buck on the car or if you are trying to buy it and have fun with it and then get your money back out of it...

My first car was a 1961 Falcon that started with an inline 6 but ended up with a 289 in it. If it is really that clean, I would say that 3g is worth it. I sold mine in 96 or 97 in far from ideal physical shape for 1500.
what color is it? Mine was a sea foam green and it had chrome fender skirts when i got it...yeah. thats pimp as hell.

It's dark blue, Idk what ford calls the color white white interior it looks pretty sweet! I wish my brother didn't have to pay to have the top end rebuilt on his 04' mach or I would tell him to do it in a heartbeat. And ya, his plan was to drive it around for a while and when he feels like selling just get the money back out of it. Also, I'mg ona try to post a pic

Looks like a decent little car. I am working on a 65 Vert for a guy right now. They are not high demand, high dollar cars, but they make nice drivers and many Stang parts swap right in. Buy it, clean it up and cruze it.

If that were anywhere in my area I would jump on that in a heartbeat. Mechanicals on that car are easy to fix. As long as the floor and trunk pans are good it would be a great buy. Check in the trunk area under the rear window and the area behind the rear wheel wells for rust--thats where those cars were prone to rust, and that kind of repair work is very expensive.
My first new car was a 64 Falcon Sprint, purchased new in June 64 for $2150.00. Have very fond memories of that car.

Or bad fan clutch--although that car most likely did not have one originally.
