I have 79 cobra and the door handles on the inside are at the bottom of the door in stead of at the top like all the other ones i have seen. has anybody else ever seen this? I am working on redoing thecar and need some doors but im not sure what i can do.

 

i saw a 79 pace car and they looked to be at the bottom of the doors so maybe i have a 79 pace car with the cobra optiontoo?</P>

how uncommon is that 1979 they made mustangs in 64. the forum should be changed to late fox body and up. all you guys seem to care about is if you car looks good or sounds good. nobody seems to have any real information on their car. as long as it is looks good in the light and isnt a ricer they are all good. Sorry i have an eclipse that would make all the mustangs in this forum s**t their pants. Im sorry you guys just dont seem to respect your cars for what they really are.

 

well maybe you could realise that they didn't make cobra's in '79. so i dunno what the guy told you that sold you the car, but i'm pretty sure it's not a '79 cobra.they didn't make cobra's til '93
