Question Sway bars

What do the sway bars do? Front and rear? What do with the quad shocks do?

Sway bars, more appropriately called anti-roll bars, are essentially horizontal torsion bars. These bars prevent excessive side to side suspension movement and body roll anytime the sides of the suspension are at different levels, or experiencing different forces particularly during a turn. The car leans less, the tires stay flatter in relation to the road, and maintain better traction in general.

Quad shocks, aka axle dampers, were used by Ford to eliminate wheel hop. They essentially dampen the movement of the axle as it twists during acceleration; particularly sudden, hard launches.
