Hola, Any techs out there?
I came to the conclusion that the mustangs 5.0 iron block is most likely the lightest engine i could find that can be converted to an E85.
so my questions are
Are there any parts i need to change out, like what metals dont mix well with ethanol?
Carburator or injection?
Will performance mods be fine with E85?
I'm just trying to get the lowest power to weight ratio without sacrificing much mpg.
I have the weight basis covered pretty well, foxbody of course ha
i can make my own ethanol and do the mixture correctly so this would greatly save me cash over the years.

E85 is fine. Easy on parts, not corrosive like methanol is. Carburetor or EFI depends on your power level, you'll deliver more fuel under power with E85, so you need a fuel system that can handle it.
If you really want to know you can post in the classic section and wait or msg Thumpin455, he has all sorts of E85 setups.
