Default V6 phenom

I have a 2006 Mustang and it is having a speratic problem that ocassionally it will shut off while driving and it will not restart at that point in time. The battery appears dead and the hazards will not even come on. This is a strange thing because it has gone as long as a month without doing it but then pops up again The thing i do not understand is that why during driving or a coincidence. When I take it to have it looked at of course it is not doing it and nothing can be found wrong?

Sounds like it could be a loose cable connection at the battery, or the alternator.
