Question Going away for 80 days

Hey everyone,

It saddens me that I'll be away from my dear '07 Mustang for about 80 days.

I'm leaving her parked in a safe underground parking, and I'll be disconnecting the battery before I go.

Is there anything else I should do that could help preserve my baby for that time period?

Anything that could help is appreciated.

I am in the military and I was gone the 1st time for like 188 days before I drove my car again. I also disconnected the battery. I went to the local dealership and they told me to put this additive in my gasoline tank.. I forgot the name of it (sorry). If I were you I would probally call the dealer..

Stabil is great advice but for 80 days I wouldn't even bother. Just let it sit with a full tank of fuel.

I've stored for 2 years and not had the fuel go bad.

I store my vert in my garage. From Early Dec to the middle or end of March.I do not disconect the battery.I put it away with a 1/2 tank of gas then fill it up when it it brought out in spring.

Right, but $5 won't hurt anyway. It takes gas around 6 months to break down..so they claim.
