i got a crown vic, ex police car. yes i know it's not a mustang but it does have a 4.6L, 4r70w tranny, and a 8.8 rear. the problem im have is at wot 1-2 and 2-3 shift r sometimes way late and i bang the rev limiter, now it happens every time the tires r loose, which i get. but even when i i know im hooked up it happens. so i guess what im asking is is this common with this tranny, is it a sensor issue or is it cooked( but fluid looks great), or could a shift kit fix this?

seems normal
