Default new on mustang, need some help

ok, Ive allways been a chevy fan, but got myself a 2011 v6 3.7 auto

I want atleast a 3.73 gears, but I dont know and cant seem to find wich rear end does this car brings, plus, how the speedometer corrections are made...
any help?

nice thing that it has the x pipe from fact, wanna get myself some nice mufflers any ideas, dont want to spend a lot of money just something that would actully bring a smile to my face, im missing a lot of torque as I would want it to have,,,,

ive been thinking of making my own intake sistem till there is a proved one that works on the market, ill keep posts on this soon,,, any one that actually made one?

Wouldn't advise making your own intake on a brand new 1st year high compression motor... But whatever floats your boat lol.

but I dont know and cant seem to find wich rear end does this car brings
?

If you're wondering what size, I'm about 98% sure the '11's have the 8.8 rear axle. As far as the speedo correction, it needs to be programmed into the ECU.

As far as mufflers....So many to choose from. Search the site and you'll find tons of opinions.

ok its big no no then on the intake LOL
how can I check wich carrier is this rear end? im not sure but im guessing its a 7.5" would be nice for ti to be a 8.8"

as far as on the tunning part, I know, now that sct is pointing new ones for the 3.7 allready, but cant seem to find anyone, that has tested or any dyno proves....

the muffler parts I was wonderin on axel back, but yeah might as well do one up myself with the mufflers I feel like having. and not spending, over 200 LOL

The '11 is new enough that not many people have really played with them yet.

take it to a dyno shop and have them tune it. There are a ton in FL. Buy an intake that is big and fits and let the shop tune it. Maybe even a discount for being the first to let them tune I;m guessing you didn't order the 3.73's from the factory? A simple calibration by a dealership, SCT hand held, or shop will fix the speedo

BTW welcome to the light side, Fords > Chevys

your mustnag has 3:55 gears stock tho yes? if it were me, it wouldn't be cost effective to spend $500-700+ dollars to go from 3:55 to 3:73 gears because thats not much difference in all honesty (unless you or a friend is doing the install for free and dont have to pay someone). i would say go with 4:10's if you want a gear upgrade you will feel. if your car comes with the 3:23's that we new edges have then 3:73's would be fine.

That's his issue. There isn't one to buy at this point.
