Default rear end howling help

'02 mustang gt 8.8 rear with 3.73's and 31 spline diff/axles. just put the diff and axles in about 2 weeks ago, all was good. now it's making a howling noise, sounds kind of like a wheel bearing, when you turn right it goes away, so my first thought is a wheel bearing, might of got damaged when we slid the axles in or something. but the weird thing is that it's not constant. when you let out of the gas, or when you get on the gas, the sound goes away. it's only there when you're constant on the gas, like going 55 down the highway. also it's only when you're doing over 40. so i'm thinking either a wheel bearing or a side bearing on the diff. any suggestions?
