Im about to go and do my rear brakes. but i wont have any idea what im going to be doin. this should be easy right.

That sounds like a bad idea if youve never done them before.....Brakes are important and should be done by profesionals

well i did them
it took me 3-4 hours but i did them.
the ones on the passenger side where done easily. but the brake on the driver side one of the pistons was jammed and it was a big bitch to get it done. im gonna have to replace the whole caliper on that side.

Did you turn the rear brakes in?? The pistons should have to be turned in so that the pads would fit in correctly.

what do you mean turn the rear brakes in?? the one piston that was jammed i tried my best to move the piston but nothing. that thing would not budge

The rear pistons take a special tool that's like $12 at a parts store. It looks like a cube. The rear pistons have small spots where the parts of the cube goes into to turn them back into the caliper so that it gives you more room to put the brake pad in.

oh i did that. yea i moved both of them back to make room for the brakes. i guess its not a piston thats bad.
two things piston things hold the calipers in place bolted on. those things go in and out and twist. well one of the doesnt move period. its weird i dont know why. it just stays there and does nothing.
