I have a 1995 Mustang Lx 3.8 L automatic transmission with over drive transmission slips when driving only when it goes to shift but if you let off the fuel pedal just as its about to shift it shifts no problem does not slip on take off any idea what the problem is ????

 

When is the last time the fluid was changed/added? Have you checked the level?
