Default 2007 GT/CS Clutch Help

I have an '07 GT/CS with 55k miles. Since being at Mustang Week in SC and running the dragstrip 3 times and a lot of bumper to bumper traffic (1 point it took 3hours to go 4 miles) my car is bucking and sometimes the tires spin way to easily even at low RPM's i am guessing there are hot spots on the clutch - so my question is to all of you great mechanically inclined stang lovers:

Can it be repaired?
Should I replace the clutch?
If you thiink it needs to be replaced - what kind do I get? As it is my daily driver summer & winter in Connecticut. I do drive somewhat spirited with my 3.55 gears.

Any help is greatly appreciated.....Thanks in advance

I doubt 3 runs down the track and some traffic will kill a clutch.

It would take a tiny bit of life off the clutch compared to straight highway driving but unless you are a terrible driver. It's probably fine.

Make sure it's not the tires before you go ripping into a clutch job.

Sounds like the clutch is fine. If it were slipping, you wouldnt be able to spin the tires at all. You would just make a bunch of noise as the car revs up, but not go anywhere. (kind-of like a ricer with a fart can)

Thanks for the info - just wondering if it could be Hot Spots as it seems to get eorse in stop & go traffic. Tires only have about 10k on them. It seems to shudder a little on take off when the car/clutch is hot and a small chirp from the tires. Kinda a wierd issue I guess
