I was at my local grocery store, and I saw a mustang in the parking lot. And it was a REALLY pretty color! If you looked at it from one angle, it was blue. And then if you looked at it from another angle, it was green! It was like those hallographic stickers kinda. Is there some special paint that I can get put on my mustang to make it do that, or was their car just custom made like that?

 

its called mystic paint.. its on some of the stock cobras that came out.. if it wasnt a stock color then it was a kameleon paint job.. mustangs arent supposed to be pretty they are supposed to be mean lean sports cars... lmao..

ummmm mystic paint was on the 96-98 cobras..... the cobra pictur you show... is Mystichrome.. its a lighter version of the mystic... its so sexy.. i know a guy who has one, the engine is done witht hat paint on it... hell even the leather seats and plastic is done in that paint... its so sexy

I heard that the cost per gallon for the chamelion paint is like $1,500.

 

yeah thats about right, but who needs a whole gallon.. the new kameleon paints are a new single layer stage paint.. so a quart or two would do.
