Hi guys. Newbie here with a 99 with cloth seats. How do you remove the headrests? I've done a search and the question has been asked but not answered. Thanks in advance.

If its the one post in the middle, you will slide a skinny saw blade or a slim jim down the post to get them out. I used a slim jim and it worked perfect.

Pull the headrest all the way up
slide the slim jim down the post hole until it stops
now push the headrest part way down and slide the slimjim down furthur
now push the headrest all the way down
Hold the slim jim in place and pull the headrest all the way out
Your done!!

 

Fought with mine for a day or two. The dealer said I needed to pull up the seat cover. I read this thread an within 5 minutes, poooof, they were off.
