Please tell me that you didn't jack the car up with the oil pan. There really isn't anywhere safe inbetween the front tires to jack. Use a frame rail.

The rear is fine to use the axle housing.

It wasn't the oil pan. If that's where the oil comes out when you change it then, no, I didn't put the jack there. It looked like a shiny metal plate...think it was in middle of k member?

No he didnt jack it up from the oil pan.

if he did, he would have started a new thread titled " i jacked up my car, oil everywhere!" lol

Be careful of your brake lines. I am not familiar with mustangs, but Some cars do in fact run break lines that can easily be crushed when jacking up a car. Not all designs are good ones.
