Default What would you build?

Well ive decided to bring my fox back to life, doing the body work and paint myself and also the interrior.... thats about where im lost. I have around 2500-3000 bucks to put into a motor for it. Ide like to run around 350-400 hp NA and probably a carb setup. Now i do have experience putting 302's together, but ive never ordered parts or had to pick parts for a build... and theres so many with so many numbers im just afraid to buy something and find out it wont work with the other thing i purchased. The car will be a strip/show car, im not looking for a 1000hp beast, but a 350-400hp fox will be somthing fun for me. Anyways any srious engine builders out there with some pointers or a recomended build sheet i can follow would be amazing. I would love to use my 302 i currently have, but probably could pick up a 351 for a decent price. Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to do almost the same with mine. I decided to go the 331 stroker way. TFS intake/heads. But my old set-up was 302 bored .30 over, then just Victor intake and GT 40 heads. idk how much that set up would make but from what I heard it'd prolly make CLOSE to what you want? maybe lil less. not sure if this helps as im more of a body/paint man myself. but Goodluck and get pics up once its done!

supercharger. if you have the money for it. a good set of aluminum heads and a good cam. most of the power is made in the heads.
