i just bought a 05 procharged gt and was wondrin if theres any way to get better mpg becuase i am just killing gas right now. and help or should i just deal with it?

 

your right foot... theres no miracle cure all on a 3am infomercial to give you 10+ better mpg. how much gas mileage are you at and how is your driving? if your boosting all the time its no wonder.

 

im putting 10 pounds of boost down, but ive worked on other cars with turbos and i know you can turn the waste gate down for less boost but im pretty new at superchargers can you turn them down too?

 

not easily. you have to change the pulley size on the supercharger and get your car re-tuned.

obviously your driving like a 16 year old in a corvette then since you said boost, thats why your gas mileage sucks. you can do 2 things. sell the car, or learn how to not hammer it from every stop light.
