RE: How often
It won't hurt anything but if I don't have a chance to drive it all week I'll start it up and let it run (once a week) just for ****s and giggles. As for our horses, I really haven't figured out how to start up a horse...

Like I always say the only stupid question is the one you dont ask....But ya it is kinda dumb, but i wont hold it against yaYou car would be fine for a year sitting, the worst that would happen is the battery would die.Dont worry about it ,go away and have a good time

RE: How often
My understanding is the concern of an engine sitting for a long time the gas will "oxidize" and gumm up the carberator. There is an additive I add to my lawnmower (called Stabil) that will protect the engine from getting gummed up. I use one a year to winterize all the lawn equipment.
but yeah , a week? I'll come over and make sure the tires dont get stiff, give me your address and leave the keys in the mailbox.

No worries about leaving it sit, but man be careful when you get back and take her out! That horse will be SO full of **** and vinegar that it will want to go VERY fast [8D] And I'm guessing you will too!
