Default GT or Cobra?

I hope I posted in the right thread, I couldn't find a specific thread for this topic.
I'm new to mustangs and looking to buy my own very soon. I drove around nearby towns in southern California and found quite a few but only two I truly felt love for. I found a 03 Mustang GT for 9 grand with 77k miles with Magnaflow exhaust and a 95 SVT Cobra for 7 grand with 168k miles. Both cars are black and clean inside and out including the engine.

I got a carfax report from both cars. The GT had front bumper damage before 2k miles and the Cobra has a clean record.

I wanted to get some opinion from experienced owners of these mustangs. Which one should I go for?

Thank you for reading.

If it were to be a choice between those two cars which one would you recommend?

+1 I agree. It also depends on what your wanting to do with the car but I would have to say in this case the GT.

9K is kinda steep with an 03 GT with that many miles. I paid only 7K for my 03 GT with 55K miles on the clock a year ago. Try to haggle the price down.

The Cobra isn't worth it. WAYYY too many miles, way overpriced, plus stock those Cobra's aren't anything special. I'd pass on that.

Keep looking, is what I'd say.

If I can get the Cobra down to 6 grand do you think it will be worth the buy? The engine looks like its been taken care of and the carfax report is clean.

not really, like said keep looking for a 96-98 cobra.

mustangs are dime a dozen, those 2 are nothing to jump about.
