ok i know that 2nd gear redlines at 65, but what does 3rd gear redline at.

Setup: 95 ford police car, 4R70W trans, 3.73 gears, j-mod. It will up shift into 4th at 110 mph, revs sounded like 5500.

hmm, i used the calculator and i should redline around 110-120mph, but i just have 3.08 gears

thanks for the input. anyone know for the mustang gt 5speed stock gears?? i wanna know cause its good to know for when ur cruising and u need to downshift, so u know whats the lowest gear you can go into. Oh yea anyone know what 1st redlines at?? i think its 30?

probably a lot higher than 30, its 40-50 for me, im not exactly sure cause close to redline my tires have already broken free and im too scared to look at my gauges for fear of my life, but next time i have a passenger ill have them take a look-see

my first redlines at about 65 km then 2nd is around 125 km then third is sumwhere round 155-160 km, but i do have the stock 2.73s. give er take a couple km on them tho.

yeah its about 40-45ish and 75-80.

^^^^ what he said. Stock V6 and GT manual tranny's use the same rear end gear from 99-04. I have a 00 V6 and it works out like what's above.
