I was driving to work this morning in 4th gear going 60 and i tried to shift and my rpm shot up to 6000 and it wouldnt let me put it in 5th gear. It was almost redlining and i didnt know what to do. I didn't have my foot on the gas or anything and it was in neutral. Finally it let me put it into gear but it did it again. What's the heck is up???

Some sort of malfunction in the drive by wire software? Very strange...

 

Dealer time? Heard of gas pedal sticking when floor mat gets caught under/on pedal but never a Trans issue with it..
