Because it is distastful. Ever seen high end european exotics use clear lights? How about american hotrods? That style came from Japan. They love to say European style clear corners, but it came from Japan and hit US and Europe. I can't stand them.
And nop, it does not make your car sharper or cleaner. It screams rice at you.
