Default Please help

The car starts, it runs fine. But when i drive, it just shuts off. Some times it will start right away, some times it wont. I replaced the fuel pump and relay. It seems like as if some one just shut the key off. Any one possibly know a solution to this issue?

Bad fuel pump or fuel pump relay won't cause the car to just shut off. It would sputter and then die if it was a fuel problem. I would suspect an electrical problem. Check the battery connections to make sure they are tight etc. If they are corroded, clean them off with some baking soda/water and a wire brush. If the corrosion is down into the cable, then replace the cable. Also have your battery and alternator checked out. Most auto parts stores will do it for free. Good luck...

Did he also say you should wear an aluminum foil hat to block the aliens from reading your thoughts?

I had this same problem many years ago with an '88 Escort; it would fire up and run fine for 10 seconds and then die as if you shut it off with the key. Turned out to be a bad pcm.
