Default Got a question

As a new member, I keep seeing discussions about GT and GT/CS but I am unable to decipher the difference. I searched but did not find anything that outlined the differences. Is there even a difference? Different production years?

Just curious.

Thank you.

For which years? I know that the 05-09 body styles where different. The CS (California Special) had a boxier front shin, and a low profile kit. I don't believe there was any engine modifications. Is that what you were asking for?

The California Special is a specialty Mustang and has a different (and I think better looking) body kit. Primarily the front and rear bumper are different and the GT/CS has the stripe that runs along the side of the car

They are also limited production

What he said. It was just a visual difference, no performance difference.

I have a GT/CS front bumper sitting in my basement ready to go on the car in spring. :-)

GT/CS is as they said. Made in 1968, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, and again in 2012. Numbers have been around 4000 or so made each year. Strictly an appearance thing both inside and outside. My sig. pic has an '11 GT/CS.
