My Exhaust?
everybody i appreciate the replies on my question...they are duely noted....i have so many plans for my mustang.....im almost done with it in the outside and inside appearance region....now i just want the power to back it up.....i do have a question though about my exhaust....as of this time i have my car straight piped...no mufflers just straight exhaust....should i change this??? or just leave it...by the way im new here...hopefully ill get a pic on here soon....after christmas when i get some of my new toys....good site for mustang stuff....classicdesignconcepts.com
yes i did have mufflers on it before....street sweepers....big big difference in the sound of course and from what i can tell i have a little more get up and go.....only had it straight piped for about a week though....
...YEESSS a lot of nice noise... BUT , You will loose a few horsepower without mufflers at all ! If you are running a mild cam/ stock engine setup, the noise will make you think the engine runs fine. But with quality mufflers , the low to mid rpm horsepower will increase... and the engine respond quicker.
all the noise does is give you somkind of mental rush into think you have more power to a point....my point look at all the fart cans out there..and most people are under the infleuance is it's loud it must be fast(er)
