Default upgrade help

ok I have a 2007 mustang base v6 now with that siad. I would like to add some upgrades to it. What are the best upgrades for my car please dont say turbo or supercharger im not rich. I was thinking more of the lines of cai, tune, 3.73 rear end not sure bout the rest please help thanks

The mods you want to do are only limited to your imagination and your wallet. If your low on cash and just wanted to get started, I'd go with the cold air intake as you mentioned and new exhaust is always nice IMO.

As for a tune, if you do any type of performance upgrade (such as a cai) you will want to do a tune to program the cars computer to the upgraded settings as it is defaulted to the stock stuff.

It really comes down to preference and cash. Let us know what you do and how it goes.

Gears are going to probably be the most expensive (figure $300 for the ring & pinion + master bearing kit, and another $300 for install) but I think will also be the most worthwhile.
