Default Gotta a question here??

how much do you think it would cost to put a hood scoop on a 2003 mustang v6 Prices fof functional and non would be appreciated. thanks

oh and if i were to paint the spoiler black would it be possible to do without actually taking it off the car and jsut paint it by hand?

why would you not take it off? its held on by 4 bolts. i can only assume by you wanting to leave teh spoiler on you dont plan to do this properly so no, do not paint it yourself its going to look like trash. a proper paint job requires you to remove the spoiler, sand it down, paint it, and clear coat it unless you do the flat black thing.

as for the hood scoop it ususalyls costs around 200$ for the hoodscoop if im not mistaken, plus painting. installation for the aftermarket ones (i dont reccomend those they suck) is just double sided tape, the stock gt scoop is held on by a few bolts so you will have to make a template and drill through your hood.

ok thanks yeah i realized how stupid my question was about painting the spoiler without taking it off. But thanks for answering about the hood scoop.

to put a hood scoop on a 2003 v6 you will need either a 99-02 v6 hood or 99-04 gt hood also, as you should have a hood with the reverse scoop now.
