Default ignition cylinder is stuck

Hey guys. my ignition has been kinda sticky so I finally tried to do something about it. I sprayed some wd40 in there to clean it then some lock ease and now it wont turn at all. I don't know if it was the wd40 or if maybe the key.
Any ideas on what I can try? And If I need a new key can I just call ford and tell them my vin number? I only have the one key and I don't think its the factory one.
Had to be the day before I was supposed to trade this car too haha.
thanks in advance

I never did a S95 but, should be the same as a Fox: Pull the key cylinder out. Take the steering wheel off....you need a steering wheel puller. Once the steering wheel is removed, then behind plastic electronic bits that come of easily will be the key cylinder. Should pop right out. Unplug it and play around with it.....I would install a new cylinder. Good luck

wd40 is bad for the lock cycilder. wd 40 attracts dust and dirt that on your key.

now since u got it working turn key to on position remove ster wheel and pull the t35 torx that hold the lock in and replace it
