So it has been awhile since I have owned a ford with a 351C but I am installing a 2100 motorcraft carb and I have a gas filter I want to put on but, The one I have goes in but not all the way. It bottoms out leaving about 3 or 4 threads showing.
Question: Is the filter suppose to go all the way in the carb or does it suppose to show threads? Seams to me that it should go in flush with the carb housing.
