I have a 2002 gt with stock wheels (bullit) i have 245/45/17 on it now .how wide can i go on these stock wheels! i tryed researching and didnt get a clear answer thanks

 

You really don't want to go much wider than what you have on there right now. A 245 is about perfect for a 8 inch rim. Some people go a bit wider, but it's not the correct fit, will wear prematurely, and won't won't grip and handle as well as it would with the correct fitting tire.
