Question about my check engine light
Can someone tell me if http://www.americanmuscle.com/stmilel.html
would work on my 2006 Mustang GT. I recently installed an offroad Xpipe and the check engine light popped up.
Idk if I should buy it or not for I already wasted my money on a new set of O2 extended sensors which was something I didnt even need

I'm told that the MIL Eliminators are supposed to get rid of the CE light. BUT....
I have an 03 GT with LT headers and off-road H-pipe. Got the CE light. Installed the MIL eliminators from AM, used my Predator to remove CE light. Then after about 25 miles of driving, the CE light came on again.
Car runs great. Motor sounds great. Don't know why CE light came on again....
So, they may be a waste of money..... Anyone else have an answer ??

not sure about the MIL eliminators fitting on your 06GT, but to topcat: the MIL eliminators are only designed to block the check engine light related to O2 sensors. You could still have something else causing a different check engine light. It isnt always a problem that you can tell from driving. sometimes your gas cap might not be screwed on right or something. i would take it somewhere and have the codes checked to be sure.
