Okay, here's the issue. pulled the smog pump out of my car yesterday, got everything back together, hooked the battery up and now the car wont start. ignition turns on, but the car wont try to turn over. i believe it has something to do with the alarm system that was installed by the previous owner but i'm not sure. I was never given a keyless entry remote when i bought the car and was thinking it has something to do with a Theft saftey feature? when you open or close the doors, the headlights and the led light on my dash will flash for a few seconds. i really need to get this thing going tonight, any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated. I've had the same problem with mine, if you haven't got it figured out yet, try locking and unlocking the car with the remote you were given. That should tell the car it's fine to start and not being stolen.
