Hello all you mustang enthusiasts out there. Im Dave and im new to the forum.
I currently have a 07 GT the previous owner installed a JLT CAI now the problem is the top of the filter has rubbed the underside of the hood down to bare metal,and damage the hood felt...it seems as though the filter is to large in diameter. 1. can i order a smaller diameter filter? 2.Was thinking of going with a Roush CAI to replace the JLT as it would fit and look better. anyway if you have come across this problem let me know thaks.

 

Check out the various filters K&N has to offer. They may have one that will fit. Good luck...

 

heard so many problems with JLT's i would look into a diff intake such as K&N

 

Go with the C&L "Racer" intake kit along with a tune and you're all set
