Exclamation Iridium Plugs Question

Hello Everyone
i am a Brand new Mustang owner and just getting my feet wet as to Maintaining my pony. so i got NGK Iridium IX plus street thunder Cables and Screaming Demon Coil for my 06 V6 Pony. so the Coil said i can increase my Gap to .65 so i used the Coin gapper (i know through research don't use it on Iridium) there is no Visible damage to the Tips they are not bent. the coin gapper only rubbed against the tip when measuring there was a Little Tug some times. so my question is is there Microscopic damage that it can do? cause from the bare Eye i cant tell any signs of damage. would greatly appreciate it was planing to change everything tomorrow.

Many thanks in advance.

Iridium plugs are a waste of money. Next time just get good old Autolites.

Thank you very much gentlemen now I'm facing another problem I tried chqngn the plugs only unplugged 1 boot tried to take the spark plug out it won't budge didn't wanna wrestle with it to end up breaking it. So I decided to go to mechanic haven't gone yet but I feel that car doesn't accelerate as fast as it used to. A few days prior I changed my exhaust system from Y pipe to X pipe and dual cat backs and throttle was awesome and acceleration was awesome. But not it has slowed down. I'm going to get the plugs changed today and going to change the cables and coil pack aswell. But I was reading online and people were saying that is a transmission problem???

Are you sure that you are not just getting used to the new mods? so it doesnt seem as much of a difference anymore? .... just a thought

oh and for the stuck plugs try running the motor until it gets up to normal operating temp then pull the boots and shoot the plugs with some pb blaster or wd 40and just work them out slow... or you could take it to a shop....

Ford has a new tool that grips the plugs more than a typical socket so you can reef on them without the fear of breaking them (Like in the F150's)
