Default Your Tires!

What kind of tires do you guys have? which ones do you think are the best for street use? Ive got some BF Goodrich G-ZForces on my V6 stang (dont ask me why i have ZR tires on a v6) but I was wondering which tires i should put in my daily driver 02 s281.

I have always had good luck w/ Pirelli. Right now i am riding on the p6000 or 7000 series (not sure which one) 18's. They seem to be pretty good. Great traction and lots of control. Good luck...

Ditto... Fuggin expensive though when you have to keep replacing them because of construction nails... [:'(] I choose not to have plugs in my tires thank you. At least Costco has been cool enough to pro-rate them for me. Just have to wait a week every time (3 times so far).

I have the Hankook Ventus HRII's as seen here http://www.hankooktireusa.com/produc..._ID=18&CatID=5. They handle pretty nice, but they where already on the car when I bought it and about half the tread is left so I really can't compare it to any other tires

i just bought some MT ET Street Radials about 300 miles ago

i took them to the track two days after getting them, its a 99GT 5sp,4.10s, and o/r H , and a catback

heated the tires up and it bogged all the way up to launching at 4K with psi at 25
best 60 i could pull was a 2.050,,

there is room for improvement as i finially managed to spin them at about 5K without heating them enough

they were kind of pricey though, 190 a piece
